I’m well into my Final Major Project, the most important part of my foundation course (I need that distinction!). Coming from nowhere in particular, I got the idea to pursue the topic of sunsets... but from films! More fun that way. Here’s the first few sunset “experiments” that were created using my alcohol markers. Each one takes about 40 minutes to create, as they are quite small.

This illustration is based off my photograph, which you can find here. It’s not focused on film sunsets, but it’s of a sunset. Just an experiment that follows the style that I began working in.
