Summer Work

In 9 days, I’m travelling back to Russia, and will stay there with my family for a whole month. During that time, I am planning on getting some work experience. Since I have no idea how to get a job in Russia, I asked my uncle, who lives in Russia, for help (who is also a PR manager). He’ll get me a job. But I’ll be working at the Russian minimum wage, getting approximately 30p/hour, which is about £80/month. It’ll be an office job, where I’ll be required to help out the whole team in translating texts and adjusting files, creating graphic art, etc. You must understand, this is for experience, and any kind of money I’ll get is fine by me :)

Right now, I’m enjoying myself and the free time I have left, having completed my A-level exams. Waiting patiently for the results. If I get the right grades, I’ll be attending Lancaster University. If not, then I’ll have to complete a foundation year...

I really hope I’ll get the grades. ಥ_ಥ

I’ve read The Brothers Karamazov and now nearly finished Преступление и Наказание. So sad and beautiful and scary and emotional, all at the same time! I’ve got to read some more of Достоевский. But next on my list is Huxley’s Brave New World. A scary book in its own right, I know, which I’ve read on the Wiki is quite similar to Orwell’s 1984. Turns out I like dystopias.
